Someone just pm'd me the same question a few days ago, along with how it affects countess. This was my response:Good question! I am curious about those things myself.I never ran countess runs so I have no idea how balanced the changes I made to rune drop rates are. However, I can assure you that she shouldn't drop any runes higher level than she did before (i think highest she can drop is a vex? She still will drop up to a vex).As for chests, I am 90% sure you will experience higher drop rates from those as well, however I have not done a single LK chest run, so yeah. ALSO, based on a d2jsp post I seen, HR drop rates from LK chests are some what fixed. You will find the same group of items along with the rune.

(here take a look: )Looking at the files I edited I would say that you'll have an increased chance of finding HRs from them, as I modified the Act 5 (good) section which is what the chests pull data from. However the chance of chests pulling from that section is unchanged. Pretty sure it will still result in an increase though.shrug. Make sure that you make a backup of your characters and LODSharedStashSave.sss if u want to save ur stashed items and characters on single playerBecause you said you're adjusting the resolution on PlugY im going to assume you're not using the default PlugY (10.00) that comes with D2SE.Personally, I'm using Plugy V11.02.Here is my.ini:(note that dclone is not enabled, just change the 0 to a 1 if u want him. Be sure to change anything else too)It goes in this directory: C:Diablo IID2SECORES1.13c(Maybe different from your root directory but ya)If you can't figure out how to get 11.02 to work I'm going to recommend you just stick with the default 10.00.Here is a guide for 10.00:If I had to guess what your problem is:. You're not on patch 1.13C.

You're not launching the game properly. You should be launching it from (click 'Start Plugin' on the top right. Make sure all the other checkboxes/text is the same for this screen as this screenshot). You're using the wrong version of Game.exe (You will need to do a completely fresh install again i believe:Either way, the files I gave you have nothing to do with why your game isnt launching:P. This looks like a really good drop mod.

I've played with some drop mods before but the problem with those is that they basically shower you with HRs and high level uniques, which kinda takes away the feeling of accomplishment. I just started fresh with the mod so I don't know if I managed to install it correctly, but I am seeing an awful lot of Grand Charms dropping and Griswold was kind enough to drop a Bane Ash so either I am extremely lucky or I actually managed to install the mod correctly. I'm looking forward to doing some real MFing with this one. Awesome!Have fun!A good way to sum it up is I really prefer act bosses to drop 2 uniques or sets per kill. That's usually what you'll get with this mod.Finding specific TC87 is still going to take you weeks unless you're really lucky, and hell even if you do find it, it might have bad stats and you'll want to farm another one!Through my trials you have pretty much exactly a 10% chance to craft a skiller using ilvl 50 gcs (the best gcs to get PLAIN skillers.) getting 9x of the same one is going to still take forever though. Also if you do ilvl99 ones the chance is prolly like. I'm going to ask you something which is basically unrelated to your thread.

Feel free to not answer it if you want. But I am asking because you seem to know what you're doing with coding and whatnot. Is there any way to get a loot filter (similar to Path of Diablo) in PlugY? Preferably something I can edit. IE: turn on this item, turn off that item (or type) at will.If this is possible, how do I do it?

I know it is not inherent to PlugY. But can PlugY be modded in this regard?Thank you.Edit: what I mean by loot filter is not to change what drops or the frequency of drops, but rather change what I see when I hold Alt. Example, if I don't want to see piles of gold, I can turn it off. You should only run bh when playing your d2se copy.

Do NOT run it on your battle net copy. I run d2se and battle net as well so it is fine to use BH on d2se. You run it as a separate program so you start d2se - once you start a game with a char you run BH.Yes there are.ini settings to disable map reveal /path /everything other than mini map stuff. The bh.cfg file is 100% customizable. You will need to read the wikis out there on it to get the syntax.

Can be a bit confusing at first but doable. Hey, unfortunately I'm not a pro at modding and I have no idea how you would accomplish that. You can change the font color of the items you really want to keep an eye out for, and you can also remove gold from dropping. Then, you could just create a file that turns gold off, and then another file that doesnt have that modification and then simply go back and forth between files. Its as easy as copy and paste to accomplish that. For realistic sake I'm going to assume you're not going to be able to accomplish exactly what you're asking for.
